The Air Truck was first developed as a tow plane for the Stigra glider.

Due to its great power and flight characteristics, it can tow any glider weighing up to 1.2 kg. The V-tail may look surprising on such a glider, but it is obviously the most suitable for towing - the tow line is guided between the V-wings and does not disturb the pilot by interfering with the rudder. The aircraft is very predictable, so even less experienced pilots can tow gliders for the first time without hesitation.

The glider was developed by Jan Sedlacek, the world champion in electric pylon racing. Hence the idea of using it in pylon races! Air truck racing is on the rise in the Czech Republic right now. For faster flight, better durability or for racing, the airplane can be covered with a thin iron-on film.

The wings are removable and attached with two plastic screws. The disassembled airplane is easy to transport. The fuselage is so big that you can easily hide all electronic parts inside. The lid of the battery compartment is held by magnets, so you can change the battery quickly and easily.

The Air Truck was also designed to be a good-natured aileron trainer - just limit the control deflections to about 20 degrees or less and you have a super good-natured trainer.
