As with the power switch, a high quality switch with floating contacts is used, which provides a one hundred percent switching connection even with strong vibrations. All parts in the switch are soldered on a circuit board. The cables are fed out of the housing with internally bonded heat-shrink tubing to protect them against kinking, and to withstand even the strongest vibrations.

The PowerBox 12 has no built-in voltage regulator, but can of course also be used for LiPo and LifePo batteries, provided that HV-compatible servos and receivers are installed.

A 3-colour LED indicates the power-on status of the PowerBox 12.
