Small and powerful magnetic switch for large gliders. This switch can be used to turn the receiving system on or off by sweeping a magnet across the switch, which is located on the inside of the hull side panel.
The switch provides a redundant function, which in turn provides safety. The switch selects the voltage source (battery or BEC) with the higher voltage; if the voltage is the same, power is drawn from both batteries and BECs.

The solenoid switch has very low current consumption ( ~ 30µA) when off, so with a 1000mAh battery connected, the battery can remain connected for an extended period of time without deep discharging the battery.
The Zepsus magnetic switch has a built-in safety feature: it "remembers" its state for at least 10 seconds when disconnected from the battery. This protects the switch against voltage interruption due to e.g. bad battery connection etc.
