The Funtastic hype has conceptually new ground. The drive of the model is provided by a pressure drive which fits seamlessly into the elegant lines of the hull. So the drive in the event of a hard landing is optimally protected. In addition, the Funtastic is through the rear drive perfect for the installation of a GoPro ActionCam!
Flyingwise the model is directly comparable with our Relax II: Slow, especially inherently stable flight characteristics that allow the pilot a lot of time for relaxed flying. Due to the large control surfaces, the model reacts pleasantly directly to all commands.
Fuselage, wings and tail are made from the 100,000-fold proven material HypoDur® and have high strength with minimum weight. The wing is divided up and has a carbon fiber- rail for reinforcement. The joiner of the wings is by friction on a carbon tube. The 1200 kV brushless motor is from a 11.1V 3S LiPo battery (not included!) Supplies and gives the Funtastic his powerful climb performance.
The control of the motor takes the proven SKYWALKER 30A regulator made by HOBBYWING.
The large canopy has a secure magnetic closure and can be removed with one hand very easily. The control of the Funtastic about all three axes. A separate servo is already installed ready for the ailerons, respectively, which is located in the wing. All control surfaces are designed as gapless elastoflaps they provide maximum aerodynamic efficiency. Furthermore, the model for the optional installation of flaps is prepared.
Due to the high degree of prefabrication, the model with only a few simple steps can be built ready to fly. In the air the Funtastic shines with good climb rate and outstanding gliding properties. The model is already talking on lowest thermal and enthusiastic pilots and spectators alike with its unmatched flight performance.
If one uses also the camera mount for the GoPro Hero 3 (+) in the model, breathtaking flying sequences in brilliant Full HD quality can be recorded.
