The PowerBox Sensor is probably the best known product in the PowerBox portfolio. With its two voltage regulators it can be used almost anywhere where double safety is to be combined with modern battery technology. Its small size and low weight make it easy to install in small to medium-sized models.

The PowerBox Sensor is a truly redundant power supply system, and is in no way inferior to its big brothers in terms of safety. Two completely independent control and switching systems are built in. This not only doubles the number of batteries connected, as is the case with all other comparable products on the market: In fact, two microcontrollers, two regulator and switching circuits, and dual voltage monitoring are built in.

To be able to use all modern batteries like LiPo and LiFePo, the two built-in regulators reduce to, for 6V servos compatible, 5.9V. Also 5s NiMH batteries can be used, with fully charged batteries too high voltages are also capped to 5.9V. This increases the life of the servos and ensures constant torque and speed, regardless of the state of charge of the batteries.

The two 3-color LEDs signal the charge level of the batteries in four steps. For even more control over the batteries, a minimum value memory stores the lowest voltage value that occurred during the flight. After the flight, the minimum value can be read from the LED's using the I and II buttons.
