Polyester iron-on film for covering aircraft models, roll 200x64 cm. Resistant to modeling fuels, working temperature range 95-180°C.

KAVAN iron-on foil is produced from a very thin and light polyester polymer with high strength, covered with a layer of heat-activated adhesive with pigments of excellent high opacity. It is supplied in rolls with a width of 64 cm and a length of 2 m. The bottom side with adhesive is protected with a clear foil.

The ironing film KAVAN is resistant to modeling fuels - glow ignition fuel, ignition fuel and gasoline.

The film thickness is 50-65 µm (including adhesive) and the basis weight is 63-70 g/m² (darker colors are slightly lighter than lighter ones).

Shrinkage of the film is 5-10%, uniformly in all directions.

For ironing, ordinary modeling irons and heat guns can be used, the working temperature range is about 95-180°C. The optimal temperature for attaching to the structure is about 95-100°C, the temperature for stretching is about 130-140°C, for strongly curved surfaces 140-160°C.
