YGE Saphir 125 brushless regulator with BEC and telemetry

The Saphir 125 is equipped with adjustable BEC and telemetry!

LV (Low Voltage) in model making refers to the application in the low voltage range up to 6s or 8s LiPo. The YGE LVT and Saphir controllers are characterised by high performance in a small size. Due to their compatibility with all common remote control systems and telemetries and the pre-programmed operating modes, they can be used universally and in many different ways. All YGE controllers have a 32-bit processor with high computing power.

Technical features:
- 6 pre-programmed operating modes for easy and quick configuration
To pre-program the controller to suit the application, we have created the mode programming. This involves using the transmitter stick to preset all the necessary parameters to suit the operating mode, and the end points of the gas channel are also read in automatically. The following modes are available:
* Mode 1: External Governor
* Mode 2: Governor
* Mode 3: Governor Store
* Mode 4: powered flight with brake (glider)
* Mode 5: powered flight without brake
* Mode 6: powered flight with acro brake
The mode programming is done in no time and the controller is completely ready for operation. For advanced programming and selection of the telemetry protocol, the USB adapter is required for connection to the PC.

- Adjustable high performance BEC
*Due to the small size of the 35LVT, this circuit has been omitted. Please refer to the notes in the operating instructions.

- Intelligent and ultra-precise current measurement
All our controllers have high-precision current measurement and current limitation. If this value is reached, the controller will of course not switch off. It limits the power so that no more than the set maximum current can flow. This protects the controller from overload, and in case of a small peak the flight can simply continue normally where other controllers would switch off or down. This even works so well that a current-controlled run is possible!

- Full telemetry support for all common remote control systems
The controller outputs the following telemetry data: Battery voltage, current, capacity, speed, FET temperature, BEC temperature, BEC voltage, gas preselection, regulator opening Our Saphir and Aureus series also outputs the electrolytic capacitor temperature and the BEC current. Our complete product range is compatible with all common telemetry protocols:
* Yeti
* Graupner Hott
* multiplex
* Futaba
* spectrum
* FR-SKY
* Core
* V- Brain , Spirit

- Extended setting options via PC software (separate USB adapter required)
The YGE Connect software offers the possibility to make advanced settings on the controller. Among other things, the desired telemetry protocol can be selected, the start-up can be adjusted as desired, or the BEC voltage can be changed. In addition, logged data of the last flight and any error entries are displayed. The controller setup can be saved or different setups can be loaded. Of course you can also update the controller online to stay up to date. You can download the YGE Connect software here.

- Controller parameters can be set directly in the transmitter (Vbar Control, Jeti, Graupner, Core)
Another unique feature is the parameterisation directly in the transmitter (Vbar Control, Graupner, Jeti, Core). This allows the most important parameters to be conveniently adjusted directly in the remote control. It couldn't be simpler!

- Intelligent temperature management
Thanks to our 25 years of experience in model making controllers, we have developed a solid and perfectly tuned cooling concept. As a result, YGE regulators remain significantly cooler and work more efficiently.

When things get a little hotter, all controllers have a multi-stage and intelligent temperature management:
* 80°C: A warning is issued via telemetry. An entry is set in the log
* 90°C: The current speed is reduced by 25%. You will notice this in flight, but you can still land safely
* 100°C: The current speed is again reduced by 25%.
* 107°C: The controller switches off the motor for safety reasons

- Super smooth and individually adjustable start-up
Gentle and yet powerful it should be! There are different requirements for the start-up. In a wing model it should be nice and explosive, in a scale helicopter it should start to turn in slow motion. Our controllers offer the right setting for all applications! For the most common applications the default setting from the selected mode is sufficient. If you need to adjust something here, you can still choose from 3 preset start-up profiles (slow/middle/fast). In addition, there is also the option "Custom", where you can adjust the start-up individually and ideally to your needs using a graphically displayed start-up curve. For the start-up behaviour from the idle state, you can also choose between a soft sine wave start and a fast block start. For scale helicopters, the run-up time can also be set to >60s. The reaction time to changes of the throttle input (switching between idle and idle) can of course be adjusted separately

- Three different Governor Modes
- Adjustable EMF brake and acro brake
In mode 4 (powered flight with brake), the throttle travel is automatically adjusted to use the brake and the brake is activated. The brake hardness can be fine-tuned in the YGE Connect software. In mode 6 the adjustable acro brake (F3A) is activated.

- Bailout
The Autorotation is not only a 3D figure that inspires during show flights. It is also important to master autorotation in emergency situations, so it is all the more important to practise this occasionally. The bailout function plays an important role here, because if an autorotation exercise does not succeed as planned, the engine can be switched on again and the controller returns the throttle very quickly to the set speed without reacting to this with a soft start.
