Construction / Contents:
- Precisely manufactured veneer-covered styrofoam surfaces bonded with aerospace resin. Pressing under high pressure guarantees 100 % profile accuracy. The veneer used is Polish black poplar. The special feature is the fine-fibred structure, which guarantees very high strength in addition to the low weight. The veneer is always mirrored on the surfaces = the left and right surfaces have the same course. This gives each model a unique symmetrical look.
- Necessary reinforcements such as glass and/or cabbage cloth inlays or spars are already installed, nose strips and edge bows made of hardwood are ready sanded. The installation of the spars made of carbon rods or flat steel is prepared, the holes or slots are installed in the surfaces with corresponding reinforcements.
- All rudders in the wings are of unique construction with elastic flaps, cut out and sanded.
- The cable duct is cut out and the recesses for the servos (on all models with a wingspan of more than 1700 mm) are circularly milled with a diameter of 50 mm.
- Light white coloured GRP fuselage with several layers of glass fabric and reinforced with carbon fibre if necessary.
- Tails are designed to be removable
- Tails made of hand-sorted light balsa and reinforced with GRP if necessary. The leading edge and the rim bow are sanded, the rudders are cut out and fitted with invisible hinges.
- Accessories with necessary linkages such as Bowden cables, push rods, rudder horns etc., glass fabric tapes, plug-in tubes (if necessary), fixing screws, glue-in nuts and GRP servo covers.

Finishing tips

For this type of model, transparent varnishes are an excellent surface protection. In addition to the visual effect - the veneer gradient unique to each model with its different light and darker shades - this surface treatment significantly improves the flight characteristics and performance.

Despite the surface treatment with sandpaper up to grit size 400, there remains a residual roughness that is no longer noticeable, which has a positive effect on performance and tear-off behaviour.

Varnishes are often used for wood floor coating (high surface hardness, can still be sanded easily). Make sure that these lacquers, which usually contain solvents, do not come into direct contact with polystyrene, as this will be dissolved.
