The S.E.5a was one of the fastest and at the same time a stable and manoeuvrable warplane of the Royal Aircraft Factory.

The S.E.5a from Hacker is a semi-scale wooden kit in 1:8 scale, which was constructed according to the rules for air combat in the WW1 ACES model category.
Hacker has succeeded in making the model light, but at the same time robust and easy to repair.
It can therefore be dismantled and the individual units can be replaced quickly and easily if damaged.
The shape of the model corresponds to the original, but has slightly enlarged tail surfaces and simplified details.

The model is equipped with an electric motor and is powered by a 3S Lipo battery.
