A Close Air Support aircraft of the U.S. Air Force, the A-10 Thunderbolt II is often affectionately referred to as the "Warthog" due to its aggressive appearance and suitability as a high-precision, well-armored and heavily armed weapons carrier. The nose-often with painted-on teeth-is equipped with a GAU-8 Avenger 30-mm gatling gun that fires armor-piercing rounds with destructive accuracy. The E-flite® A-10 Thunderbolt II Twin 64-mm EDF is a scale replica of this legendary aircraft used in Desert Storm, Desert Fox, Enduring Freedom and other missions. It has an impressive top speed and unlimited vertical climb performance, offers fantastic handling and, with exclusive Spektrum AS3X® and SAFE® Select technologies, is the easiest A-10 to fly to date (BNF® Basic version only).

EVERYDAY HIGH-PERFORMANCE JET

The E-flite® A-10 Thunderbolt II Twin 64-mm EDF is a completely new design with outstanding handling and is the highest-performance model of this popular U.S. Air Force aircraft type to date. The twin 64-mm 11-blade impellers are powered by high-speed brushless motors fed by 40-A controllers that draw their power from a single 6S 3200 - 4000-mAh LiPo. This perfectly designed propulsion system provides excellent top speed - of up to 160 kmh in level flight - and unlimited vertical climb performance, as well as first-class flight times. The separate BEC and nine factory-installed digital servos with ball linkages provide precise and reliable control. The long list of features includes LED lighting, landing flaps, dual rudders and electric retractable landing gear with shock-absorbing landing gear legs, so even takeoff and landing on groomed grass runways is possible. Details such as removable external loads, molded-on sheet metal shocks, a cockpit with pilot figure and much more contribute to the incredible scale impression. In addition, the A-10 comes from the factory in the rare three-color gray camouflage scheme "Flipper", which is convincing on the ground and in the air. It all adds up to a "warthog" that's practical size makes it easier to store and transport, while providing an unparalleled flying experience!
