Description
A total of around 12,000 of the single-engine F4U Corsair with its characteristic folding wings were built between 1940 and 1953. Mainly used as a carrier aircraft by the US Marine Corps, it was deployed in both the Second World War and the Korean War.
The detailed AMXFlight F4U from the Cartoon Fighter series not only impresses with its playful appearance, but also with its flight characteristics: The electronics have a 6G/3D circuit, making the aircraft suitable for beginners and advanced pilots alike. The Cartoon Corsair is controlled via all axes (aileron, elevator, rudder, motor). It flies self-stabilising in 6G mode (gyro) - which also prevents stalling. If the pilot has sufficient flying experience, it is easy to switch to 3D mode via remote control in order to perform loops, rolls or inverted flights in dynamic aerobatics. If the aircraft unexpectedly encounters turbulence, it can be switched back to gyro mode for self-stabilisation at the touch of a button (rescue function).

The board also allows operation with e.g. Futaba or other 5V S-Bus receivers as well as DSM receivers with a 3V output. This means that the model can also be flown with existing remote controls. Supplied as an RTF version (Ready-to-Fly), the remote control, a LiPo battery and a suitable USB charger are included in the scope of delivery. Assembling the model takes just a few minutes - and the AMXFlight Cartoon Corsair F4U is ready for take-off.
