KAVAN S108A is a two-stroke engine with a glow plug of classic ABC design (Aluminium piston - Brass liner - Chromed), ideal for model aircraft of all kinds. It is equipped with a twin-needle RC carburettor; the set also includes a muffler.

The crankshaft has an UNF 3/8-24 propeller nut/bolt thread.

Recommended fuel tank: 400–500 ml.

Recommended fuel: „Straight“ (no nitro) fuel with 20 % castor oil (you can switch to 15 % oil content after your engine has been run-in) or similar with a castor/synthetic oil blend or with synthetic oil and 1–15 % nitromethane. We recommend using fuel with at least a small nitromethane content - the engine operation is then really highly reliable and the carburettor adjustment is easier and less sensitive to temperature changes and other environmental influences.

Recommended glow plug: KAVAN GP-1, O.S. MAX No.8, KAVAN Premium No.3; if high nitro content fuel is being used: O.S. MAX No.10 (former A5).
