Robbe, 8124, POWER PEAK® C8 EQ-BID 12V/230V 180W

Successor to the proven C8 computer-based charge / discharge station, now even more powerful, with charge power of 180 W. With integral Equalizer for eight-cell Li-Ion, LiPo and LiFe batteries. With maximum charge current of 10 A, either from a 12 Volt car battery or the 230 Volt mains, using the integral switch-mode mains PSU.

- Product Details
The clean, elegant design of the unit is made possible by the new Cap-Touch system. Zero-contact sensors for the switch and the 3D-hotkey allow a smooth, sealed surface without projecting controls.
The charge parameters and battery data are displayed in clearly legible form on a bright, backlit mega-LCD screen, which is also installed under the sealed user input area. The menus are available in six languages (English, German, French, Italian, Spanish and Czech), which can be selected in the software.
Particular emphasis has been placed upon a quiet cooling fan with additional RPM and temperature control, so that the device may be used in the office and living areas without it causing a noise nuisance.

With integral Equalizer for Li-Ion, LiPo and LiFe batteries. High Equalizer current of 250 mA. When the Lithium battery is connected to the charger, the cell count and voltage data of each cell are passed to the charger. This information feedback keeps the charger informed at all times of the state of the cells, and allows it to react appropriately.
The charge current can be adjusted within a broad range of around 0.1...10 A. On mains power the unit offers a charge capacity of 110 Watt, making it suitable for small slow-fly models, transmitter and receiver batteries, as well as large flight packs and drive batteries.

A combination of high equalizer current and high charge current is crucial if the battery is to be charged quickly. An integral USB port with bootload function allows the software to be updated at any time, ensuring that the charger is always at the latest state of development.

Simple, secure operation and automatic storage of the essential battery data in the robbe BID system (Battery IDentification system).
The special advantages of the BID system:
- Simply plug the BID key into the charger and start the charge process.
- No tiresome searching through menus for the set-up parameters
- Maximum protection from mis-handling
- Storage of essential battery data in the BID chip.
- Naturally the charger can also charge batteries not fitted with the BID system.
- One BID key is supplied with the charger
